This 7" split by Hazuressive and the Fallopian Disco Force has been heralded as a 'gorgeous mess' and 'five minutes of slow squalid funk' in a 'murderous atmosphere' by Mark McLaren in his recent Gaze Into A Gloom review. One side features the 4-piece power ambient hard rock group from Tokyo 'Hazuressive', contributing three songs about 'love happy paradise' in 6 short minutes, an amazing testament to their belief in 'dream and love and happiness'. Microphone duties are always shared, so by the end of the groove we have finally understood Hazuressive's dream as seen through each of Kariu, Hayakawa and Hiro's exuberant chant and song. The other side features the Fallopian Disco Force at their unlaundered best, performing with newest member Jaow Spi Sci on drums in a throbbing riff that leaps with pounding samples, thrashing turntables and victorious guitar feedback. This is exactly what it sounds like when a jam band meets quicksand and barely escapes for one last psychedelic workout.
