The long-awaited new release from Legofriendly is here. Egg Beater is officially released in June 2008 on the Intervall-audio label, distributed through Ultravybe in Japan. (1500 yen, inc tax).
Egg Beater brings together six tracks of dense urban electronic music that lie somewhere between IDM, techno and electronica—but as always, fall neatly between the gaps. Recommended listening if you like FourTet, Mouse on Mars, Pram or Plaid.
You can catch Legofriendly live at Super Deluxe in Nishi-azabu, Tokyo on April 8 as part of the monthly Test Tone event. Copies of the new album will be available at a special pre-release price. The event also features music from Yukitomo Hamasaki and Instant Places, and visuals from Tripon. Check the Test Tone Web site for full details.
Rewind to 2003 and take a listen to the very first collection of Legofriendly tracks, originally released as a limited edition CD-R and now re-released as an MP3 download on Intervall-audio. Download the individual tracks of the Form EP here, or a ZIP archive of all the tracks plus the cover art.
Also in the listening area are some remixed and live tracks: Clitch Grub, a Legofriendly remix of Japanese click house and minimal house artist, Bergbahn (released on Flux Figure Transform remixes vol. 1), and Blue tooth on 9+10=10th Anniversary! , a double CD compilation of tracks featuring Japanese singer Coppe.
Form is Legofriendly's first recorded sounds. Download the whole EP in MP3 format below. In the Others section we have a selection of tracks, original and remixes.
Look out for Legofriendly music soon on CD Baby and iTunes Music Store.
